Award-Winning Portraits | 2021 Portrait Masters Bronze with Distinction
I’m excited to share that my work was recognized in the 2021 Portrait Masters Awards & Accreditation Program, with two images receiving Bronze with Distinction awards.
The Portrait Masters Awards are open to portrait photographers from around the world and are known for their high professional standards. Images are judged on both technical excellence and artistic impact, with awards recognizing photographers who demonstrate strong storytelling, connection, and presentation.
For the 2021 awards, I submitted five images across a range of portrait styles. Two of those images earned Bronze with Distinction, an honor awarded to images that score above the standard Bronze level and reflect an elevated level of craftsmanship and communication.
Portrait Masters images are evaluated on criteria such as:
Expression and connection
Styling and posing
Composition
Lighting
Focus
Overall technique and presentation
Storytelling
Entering professional competitions is both challenging and rewarding. Having your work reviewed and scored by experienced industry judges requires vulnerability, but it’s also one of the best ways to continue growing as a photographer and refining your craft.
I’m incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud of the work I continue to create. These awards reflect the level of care, intention, and expertise I bring to every portrait session — whether in studio or on location.
