Real Estate Agent Headshots with Laura

Professional branding photography plays an important role in how real estate agents present themselves online and in print. Laura came into the studio for an updated branding session to create professional portraits she could use on her website, marketing materials, and social media.

Her goal was a clean, confident, and timeless look that would support her real estate brand.

Laura’s session began with professional makeup by my makeup artist, Rachel, who specializes in natural, camera-ready makeup for studio photography. Professional makeup helps create a polished finish and ensures skin tones photograph beautifully under studio lighting.

Wardrobe and Styling for Branding Portraits

Laura selected several classic and professional outfits that photographed well and provided variety without distracting from her brand. Structured pieces, neutral tones, and clean lines work especially well for real estate headshots and personal branding portraits.

For clients looking for guidance on what to wear, I have created a detailed Portrait Styling Guide that walks you through outfit choices for headshots, branding sessions, and personal portraits.

Studio Background Selection

For her branding session, Laura chose two darker studio backgrounds, a medium gray and a warm brown gray. These backgrounds are popular for professional headshots and offer a refined, timeless look that works well across marketing platforms.

Although Laura originally planned to use only darker backgrounds, I recommended adding a few images on a white backdrop to increase versatility. White backgrounds are ideal for websites, modern branding, and print materials.

Final Image Selection

When viewing her gallery, Laura discovered that some of her favorite images were taken on the white background. The lighter backdrop gave her portraits a fresh, modern feel while still maintaining a professional look.

This is a great example of how adding variety during a branding session can enhance the final collection.

Real Estate Headshots and Branding Photography in the Studio

Laura’s final gallery includes a strong mix of professional portraits that reflect her confidence, approachability, and brand as a real estate agent. These images give her flexibility across online and offline marketing while maintaining a cohesive look.
