Isabelle’s Graduation Portrait Session at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park

Graduation is such a special milestone, and capturing these memories through timeless graduation portraits is something I always love. Recently, I had the joy of photographing Isabelle’s Grade 12 graduation session at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park just outside Calgary.

Isabelle chose a stunning emerald green satin prom gown, which looked absolutely breathtaking against the rolling foothills. Since she has a love for Scotland, I wanted to bring a touch of that Scottish Highlands feel into her photos. The evening light, wide-open skies, and natural landscape at Glenbow Ranch created the perfect backdrop for this unique graduation photoshoot.

This session was extra meaningful because I’ve also photographed both of Isabelle’s older sisters for their senior graduation portraits. Being invited back by a family for such important milestones is always an incredible honor—it feels like I’ve been able to capture a piece of their family history through the years.
