Calgary Graduation Portraits - Jessica

This beautiful young lady is my niece, Jessica, who graduated from high school this past spring. Since she lives in Saskatoon, we planned her session for the summer when I could visit. We chose the University of Saskatchewan campus for her outdoor session—it’s full of stunning old buildings and picturesque locations, perfect for graduation portraits.

Having her grad portraits taken after graduation gave Jessica another chance to have her hair and makeup done and wear her gorgeous prom gown one more time before putting it away. The timing also gave us beautiful summer weather, which meant we could capture the lush foliage and she stayed warm and comfortable throughout the session.

Jessica is an artist, so I wanted to create some artsy, dramatic, fashion-inspired images, and this location made it easy to bring that vision to life. I love every image from her session and had a hard time narrowing down which ones to show here—so this is just a small sampling of the full gallery!
