Playing With The Light

I did a lot of shooting this summer and fall, and learned a lot...but one of things I learned is that I really need to improve on my technical skills.  So, now that winter is coming and I won't have as much time to shoot, I want to spend more time reading and studying so that I can learn more about lighting.  Today I read a book and a blog by a fabulous natural light photographer, and thought I'd try out a few of the things that I learned.  Wow!  A few simple changes can make all the difference in the quality of the portrait.  It really is all about the light.
